While the subject matter of any genealogy web site is intended to be as extensive, detailed and informative as the historical sources allow, this needs to be balanced by the needs of an individual’s privacy. Every effort is made to ensure no living individual has personal data published that may violate their privacy or enable identity theft.

Family Tree sub Web Site (using “webtrees” software)

Records, including the names, of any living individuals are hidden by default, and are only viewable by subscribed members of the site while logged in.
Individuals without a date of death, and not tagged as deceased, with a calculated age of less than 100 are automatically deemed to be still living.
Any individual’s records, living or dead, may be tagged as Private if required, and viewable only by specific members and the site administrator
